A free layoff runway calculator
Most people find out how long their savings would last after they've been laid off — when the stress is highest and the decisions are hardest. Luck Buffer flips that. It's a tool you run before you need it, so the number isn't a shock when it matters.
The idea is simple: knowing your runway turns a vague financial anxiety into a concrete number. A number you can act on. You can cut expenses, pick up side income, or just sleep easier knowing you have more time than you thought.
Luck Buffer takes your liquid savings, expected severance, and monthly expenses and calculates your exact financial runway — the number of months before your money runs out. It also shows how lifestyle changes extend that runway, what side income you'd need to reach a 6, 12, or 18-month target, and generates an action checklist tuned to your runway tier.
